Mareel Ocean Green was built in the Buckie Shipyard shortly before the yard entered administration. The vessel has a resiliently mounted deck house for quiet and vibration free environment, 2 x Cat C 2.2 24 kW generator sets.

The Crew Transfer Vessel (CTV) is powered by fixed pitch propellers and two Caterpillar C18 ACERT 860 hp engines.
