Sunrise Wind Offshore Wind Farm

27 Apr 2023: The first round of public consultation started and concluded on 26th May 2023. The public was able to view the plans in three different locations. Objects to the plans were submitted by the local fishing community which is concerned about the cumulative impact of offshore wind projects on the east coast of Ireland. Specific concerns related to Whelk. Lobster, Scallop and Crab fisheries. Objections were also received from members of the publoic.
