Master Builders Solutions secures offshore wind contracts in Taiwan

Master Builders Solutions, part of MBCC Group, has been awarded the grout supply contracts for the Formosa II, ChangFang and Xidao, and Greater Changhua offshore wind projects in Taiwan.

In total, Master Builders Solutions will be supplying MasterFlow to 222 offshore foundations. The largest of the three projects, with 111 wind turbine foundations and two offshore substation foundations, are the 900MW Greater Changhua 1 and 2a wind farms. With a capacity of 605MW and 296 MW respectively, they will be located in water depths of 34-44 metres.

The company’s operations to supply these three major projects are underway with the first deliveries expected to arrive in Taiwan in February 2021.
