Nordsøen I - (Subarea 2)

30 Jun 2023: The Danish Energy Agency published the draft procurement material for upcoming 6 GW offshore wind tenders (1 GW Kattegat; 1 GW Kriegers Falk II, 0.8-1.2 GW Hesselo; 3 GW North Sea I) and 3 GW Bornholm Energy Island windfarms. It is the implementation of the political supplementary agreement, which was adopted on May 30th 2023 for an additional 9 GW by 2030. The procurement material is subject to a market dialogue with the relevant market players until the end of August 2023. Two technical workshops on requirements regarding the grid connection in case of overplanting, will also be held with Energinet in Copenhagen on August 29, 2023 for the 6 GW (radial parks) and on September 6, 2023 for the Energy Island Bornholm. Overplanting is possible for Kriegers Flak II, Kattegat and North Sea I within the limitation from the SEA. It is limited to 400 MW for Hesselø. The final procurement material is expected to be published by the turn of the year with expected deadline for the best and final offer by the end of 2024 for the wind farms the North Sea, Hesselø and Energy Island Bornholm and in first half of 2025 for Kattegat and Kriegers Flak II.
